Frequently Asked Questions

Will there be food at Pride Kel-So?

Yes. We will have several food vendors with food available for purchase. Your registration for this event allows our food vendors to best prepare and ensure plenty of inventory with shorter lines.

What is the security situation?

We have an amazing partner in Alpha & Omega Mounted Patrol. They have put together an impressive security operations plan and are working with local PD’s, city officials, and private security companies to ensure we are prepared for any security concerns. That being said, we have not received any direct threats on Pride Kel-So that have us worried.

Will alcohol be available?

Out of respect for the (affirming) church offering their land to us, and with it being an all ages event, the ONLY area where alcohol can be consumed is in the 21 and up VIP tent. VIP tickets are available for purchase (while quantities last), and include your beverages as well as hors d’oeuvres and exclusive experiences.

What is the parking situation?

To accommodate the ever growing list of guests for Pride Kel-So, we have partnered with local churches and businesses for parking. Currently, the confirmed lots are at Keller United Methodist Church (Keller) and Keystone Church (Keller). Pinky’s Valet will be providing shuttle service straight to the parking lot at St. Martin-in-the-Fields.

Is Pride Kel-So Free to Attend?

Yes. It is free to attend Pride Kel-So as general admission. However, we do require registration in order to keep the event secure and safe. Early registration isn’t required, but is appreciated so that we can ensure planning that will accommodate the size of the expected crowd.

Why is it called Pride Kel-So?

With the church being right on the border of Keller and Southlake, two historically conservative communities that have had members of the LGBTQ+ community moving in silence and deprived of resources, it just made sense. Now, it made sense, but Pride Keller & Southlake doesn’t have as nice of a ring to it as Pride Kel-So. The founders of Pride Kel-So, April & Shaina Dreyson, both grew up in Keller and still live there. Through their business, The Dreyson, they’ve been heavily involved in both Keller and Southlake communities.

Can I bring food or drinks in?

To ensure the safest environment, outside food and drinks will not be allowed. Pride Kel-So will provide free bottled water to all guests, and food, sodas, etc will be available for purchase through our vendors.

What other items aren’t allowed?

We will provide a full list of prohibited items as we get closer. Any bags must be clear and small. We will provide allowed measurements in the near future.
